Hamilton, state Democrat ticket to hold media availability on Thursday in Indianapolis
Lee Hamilton, Vop Osili, Sam Locke and Pete Buttigieg to take reporters’ questions
INDIANAPOLIS – Please join former Congressman Lee Hamilton, Democratic Secretary of State nominee Vop Osili, State Auditor nominee Sam Locke and State Treasurer nominee Pete Buttigieg for a media availability on Thursday in Indianapolis.
The former congressman and 9/11 Commission vice chair recently announced his intention to step down as president and director of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington DC and return to Indiana. Hamilton, who will continue to lead Indiana University’s Center on Congress, is expected to formally endorse the statewide ticket.
Reporters are invited to McCormick and Schmick’s in downtown Indianapolis at 1:15pm for an informal session with the Hamilton and the Democratic team.
