Indiana Young Democrats - Give a Christmas Service Project
This holiday season, the Indiana Young Democrats will be collecting donations (both in-kind and dollars) for an adopt-a-family program at the Julian Center, a counseling and shelter organization in Indianapolis for victims of domestic violence. We welcome the entire Democratic community to join us in this great cause.
We currently have two families adopted, but can add more if donations exceed expectations. Deadline for contributions is December 6, 2012.
Below is a list of items needed for the families. Per Julian Center rules, all items should be new and unwrapped. To give:
Cash Donations - Click here to make a contribution online. All contributions given on this page will be used for this project and not political purposes. A team of IYD members will purchase needed items prior to dropping off items to the Julian Center.
In-Kind Donations - See the list below. If you would like to do this option, please call or email IYD President Sam Locke at (812) 322-7186 or samuel.locke@gmail.com to arrange for pickup in the Indianapolis area. Pickups may also be possible near Richmond & New Albany. Alternatively, items may be shipped to: 8459 Brittany Court N, Indianapolis, IN 46236.
