We will be
holding a canvassing event in Franklin on October 7th. This is a
coordinated effort between Shelli Yoder for Congress and Chris Grider for State
Representative, District 47, both of which are AFL/CIO endorsed
candidates. We are trying to cover a lot of ground, but don't have much
time. All indications show that Johnson County, especially Franklin, ARE
winnable. The Gregg/Donnelly team are setting up an office in Greenwood
... NOW is the time to mobilize our members! Here are the details:

Unfortunately,
this was the only date Shelli had available that she could commit this much
time and it happens to be in the middle of a Colts game, but we will take what
we can get. I hope you will spread this to members and we can have a
great turnout. As always, thanks for any and all help you have and can provide.

Saturday, 9/8 - Perry Township, 10:30 - 5:00, meeting at Kroger at the corner of Edgewood and Madison, in the corner of the lot nearest the Edgewood and Madison intersection.
Sunday, 9/9 - White River Township - 1:00-5:00, meeting in the southeast portion of the parking lot at Kroger, 3100 Meridian Parke Drive, Greenwood.
Tuesday, 9/11 - Perry Township - 6:15-8:15, meeting at Kroger at the corner of Edgewood and Madison, in the corner of the lot nearest the Edgewood and Madison intersection.
Thursday, 9/13 - Perry Township – 6:15-8:15, meeting at Kroger at the corner of Edgewood and Madison, in the corner of the lot nearest the Edgewood and Madison intersection.

2 other events - Oktoberfest, thru Sunday, at German Park on the Southside, and a League of Women Voters' candidate forum on 9/18, from 7-9 at the Perry Township Government Center, which will be televised on Ch. 16 and for which I would be grateful to have some friendly faces in the crowd.
